Digital technology is at the heart of how Light for the World connects with supporters, partners and communities around the world. In this role, you'll ensure that our global digital communication platforms remain secure, reliable and future-ready.
You'll act as the technical lead for our shared websites, analytics, social media management tools and related digital systems. Working closely with communications, IT, fundraising colleagues, country offices and external partners, you'll continuously improve our digital ecosystem while ensuring accessibility, compliance and excellent user experiences.

Your tasks
Lead the governance and continuous improvement of Light for the World's global digital communication platforms
Act as the technical focal point for websites, analytics, tracking and digital communication technologies
Ensure secure, reliable and accessible digital platforms that comply with GDPR and organisational standards
Collaborate with communications, IT, fundraising teams and country offices to develop sustainable digital solutions
Manage relationships with external technology providers, agencies and software vendors
Drive platform enhancements, integrations and digital innovation projects
Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement
Develop governance processes and prioritisation frameworks for digital platforms
Support organisational decision-making through technical expertise and evidence-based recommendations
Promote knowledge sharing and digital best practices across the organisation
Your profile
Several years of experience managing digital communication platforms, websites or marketing technologies
Strong understanding of CMS platforms, web technologies and digital ecosystems.
Experience with web analytics, tracking technologies and digital performance measurement
Knowledge of accessibility standards, GDPR and digital governance
Experience working with external vendors and managing digital technology projects
Ability to translate organisational needs into sustainable technical solutions
Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent English and German language skills
Experience working in international organisations or NGOs is an advantage
